Nationwide Public Opinion Survey, Wave 2

Client
IPSOS Bosnia and Herzegovina
Year
Jan–Feb 2026
Method
Face-to-face, CAPI
Sample size
1,000 interviews
A nationwide tracking survey, run to the same design as the first wave so the two can be read against each other.

What the study set out to answer

The wave tracks how public opinion moves across the country, so the client can compare attitudes with the previous round rather than read a single snapshot.

Fieldwork ran in every region, with quotas on settlement type, gender and age, so the sample reflects the adult population rather than the people who are easiest to reach.

Scope of work

  • Sampling frame design and quota control
  • Questionnaire adaptation and translation
  • Interviewer training and field supervision
  • Data cleaning, weighting and tabulation
  • Reporting with wave-on-wave comparison

How the fieldwork ran

  1. Pilot in two regions to test the questionnaire
  2. Full launch across all marzes
  3. Daily quality control on 20% of interviews
  4. Back-checks by phone on a random sub-sample
  5. Final data delivery with a full codebook
