Land acquisition & resettlement

We know Armenia and its people — full-cycle resettlement you can defend.

Legal, cadastral and stakeholder work for national infrastructure programmes, delivered to Armenian law and international standards — from first survey to final resettlement.

What full-cycle LARP means

Most research houses stop at the report. We don’t.

Since 2012, Media Model has carried land acquisition and resettlement programmes the full distance — from cadastral survey and legal due diligence, through stakeholder consultation, to resettlement action plans and on-the-ground implementation. It asks for two things at once: the discipline of a research collective, and the legal, cadastral and field capacity to see a programme through on a live national infrastructure timeline.

Key Areas of Work

Stakeholder Coordination & Institutional Engagement

Structured coordination with government bodies, financing institutions and local administrations, so resettlement does not stall on institutional friction.

Stakeholder Engagement & Consultation

Direct, documented consultation with affected households and communities — the process both the law and international lenders require, run so it holds up to audit.

End-to-End LARP Implementation

Cadastral survey, valuation, compensation and resettlement delivery managed as one continuous programme, not handed off between contractors at each stage.

Standards we work to
  • Legislation of the Republic of Armenia on public-interest acquisition
  • Lender resettlement policies, including ADB and World Bank frameworks
  • Documented consultation and grievance procedures
  • Independent monitoring and reporting

All processes are carried out in close cooperation with the relevant state authorities and local community bodies.
